Privacy & Safety

To fulfil your order, we need certain information such as your name, email address, postal address and the details of the product that you’re ordering.  You may also choose to provide additional personal information if you get in touch with us directly. 
We may need to contact you via email regarding your order, for instance to send an order confirmation to you.  We also may need to contact you if there is an issue with your order.
We use only your name and postal address for couriers and postal services such as Royal Mail so that we can post your order.
We do not pass your information on to anybody else or use it for anything else. 
Payments are either made via PayPal or with a debit/credit card on a secure platform.  We do not see or have access to your financial information.
We retain your information only for as long as necessary, although we may need to hold your information for legal requirements, in which case we hold it for up to 5 years. You have the right to access, amend, restrict or delete your information at any time.

As the consumer, you are personally responsible for determining the suitability of all products purchased from Poetic License.

All our collars are fitted with superior quality side release Buckles.  We prefer premium USA -made buckles over the standard far east imported ones.  

Please do not use a worn or damaged, weakened, chewed, frayed or otherwise substandard collar, lead or harness on your pet. You must use extreme caution if your pet pulls on his/her collar, harness or lead.  None of our collars are designed for heavy sports such as road running or water sports. 

You must regularly check all parts including stitching and metal hardware.

In no event or under any circumstances shall Poetic License be liable to you or any other party for incidental, punitive (exemplary or retributory), or consequential damages. We will not be liable for any loss or damage. Receipt of payment for these goods is proof that you have read, understood and agreed to our liability policy.
If you do not wish to accept the above terms and conditions then please return your unused purchase for a full refund as soon as possible.
